I messed up yesterday by trying to multi-task; I got up for sunrise this morning
to make sure I got some nice photos for you. Yesterday I tried to combine taking
lupine photos with running errands - it just didn't work. I forgot my camera the
first time and then was late so I grabbed a camera to get a quick photo in before
light was gone (and the camera had a dead battery). But . . . today's a new day
and it is beautiful! If you can, drive over to enjoy the day with us.

This evening I drove down Pearl Lake road to the Lake. I was amazed at the lupines
I saw on the way there. There were yellow lupines along the drive and lupines
patches that were twice as large as last year. |

you look in the center of the photo to the right, there is a line of lupines.
If I had the time, I would of liked to walk up to inspect them.
