20o9 Autumn Color

October 2

There's either too much sun or not enough sun for me to get the best photo for this webpage. Even if my photos aren't the sharpest, you can see that Mt. Lafayette is white with snow and the hills are dotted with oranges, reds, yellows, and contrasting greens of the fir & pine trees. This is the time to come before the color fades - we're starting to see more leaves on the ground.

Snow has come! This is the hill behind Sunset Hill House, the clouds were so low, you couldn't see Mt. Lafayette so this direction was the better photo. Maybe I'll catch Mt. Lafayette in tomorrow's photo.

Now's the time to come visit the area - the leaves are beautiful! The clouds hid the sun quite bit today but even so the scenery was breath-taking. Even us locals are trying to find a minute to go out to enjoy the color because this is a spectacularly colorful autumn!!

Sometimes I add photos to previous days, take a minute to look back . . .
