As you can see the color is around and the reds are so much brighter on the hillside than this photo shows.

Today's been a day of weather: rain, sleet, hail, sun, and more rain! Tonight it was raining while the sun was shining so I tried to capture the rainbow for you..

It was getting dark when I got out of work tonight but I managed to get in a couple of shots to show you the color in our area. The sun helped because it did peek out for a few minutes as I was traveling down Route 117 towards Lisbon . . . but when I started for Littleton to get the shots I missed last night, it started to rain so I missed the photos again!

This morning it was too dark for photos when I started for the Windy Ridge Orchard to pick up Sheila's Cider Donuts from the Cider House Cafe. We offer the donuts in the store to accompany the free cup of hot White Mountain Coffee. Even though it was dark, I tried to take a photo to show how the roads were coated with leaves.

We are at peak up here. I drove to Littleton after work tonight and forgot my camera (of course) the trees were spectacular against the dark cloudy sky. I'll try again tomorrow.
